Seasoned Beats
“Seasoned Beats” is a taste-makers program and aural experience focused on vinyl records & original analog audio sources from antique & modern recordings. Unique blends of Funk, Northern Soul, Motown, R&B, Latin, Jazz, Ska, Disco, Boogaloo, and even Garage. His 1st program "Active ingredients" back in 1998 at KKFI won him international attention and winner of several WMC awards for "Precise Mixing". From 1998-2008 he was in the top 10 charting new material for Billboard, VYBE & DMC magazines.
You’ll likely hear some tunes you know, and many selections you’ve never heard broadcasted. It’s an education surrounded by one of the largest-known record collections in the Midwest! Combining a wealth of knowledge with innovative musical ideas, each episode is a “Jukebox Jamboree” of vintage sounds. Join the "45 King" each week and celebrate with him the analog sound!

This year marks Radionic’s third radio show for KKFI, an experience starting back in early 1998. While producing “Active Ingredients,” a mix of new Electronica & Underground Dance, he later in 2001 was also programming a second time slot. Airing with Downtempo, Funk & Trip-Hop tunes called “Seasoned Beats.” This second show really allowed him to expand on his extensive knowledge of music and express it back to radio listeners. Continuing in that previous fashion the new version of “Seasoned Beats” is a unique blend of Vintage Jazz, Funk, Soul, Fusion, and Progressive, along with innovative musical ideas.
