Missouri Goes to Trial Over Death Penalty Protocol

The state of Missouri like many other states ran out of the drugs used for executions when the European manufacturer refused to ship for the purpose of execution.  Missouri recently decided to use Propofol the drug that killed Micheal Jackson as their execution drug. The drug Propofol has been known to cause a great deal of pain in much lower doses than will be needed for execution.

This decision was made without any public input and has prompted an lawsuit in behalf of over 20 Missouri Death Row inmates.  Our guest today Attorney Joseph Luby is one of the lead in a class action lawsuit challenging the new protocol.
