Local Showcase
The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Filmmaker Chris Snipes, director of “My Friend Mott-ly,” joins guest host Barry Lee to reminisce and discuss the life and times of the former KKFI 90.1 FM DJ and artist Mott-ly. We’ll play his music, excerpts from his KKFI radio show, and try to summon up his spirit.
