About the Show
Tell Somebody
"Tell Somebody" is a locally-produced weekly public affairs program on the air on KKFI since September 2005. Tell Somebody strives to provide in-depth coverage of international, national and local issues on important issues and viewpoints often ignored or distorted in the corporate media.
On Saturday August 11, Maurice Copeland and friends held a town hall for sick and dying Bannister Federal Complex workers past and present. Tell Somebody was there to record highlights including a performance of Langston Hughes’ “Radioactive Redcaps” dialogue by Priest and 337 of The Recipe, and former Kansas City Plant worker Jeanette Watts talks of the problems she has had filing a claim for the health problems she has as a result of working with toxic materials at the plant.
