WINGS
WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.
Since 1991, thousands of women’s organizations around the world have marked 16 Days of Activism against gender violence from November 25 through December 10th. In this program, you’ll hear about efforts on the Kenyan coast.

Violet Muthiga, Chief Executive Officer of Sauti ya Wanawake Pwani (voice of women in the Coast region); Mary Kiambi, a para-legal for the International Center for Reproductive Health at the Gender Violence Recovery Center; Betty Sharon, Chief Execuitve Officer of Coast Women in Development; additional voices from a video about Coast Women’s work with sex offenders in prison.
